Experience the world's greatest natural spectacle - the Great Migration of over two million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles across the Serengeti ecosystem. This 9-day luxury safari is specifically designed to position you at the heart of the action, with fly-in camps that follow the herds throughout the year.
The Great Migration is a continuous journey, but certain periods offer extraordinary highlights. From December to March, witness the calving season in the Ndutu region, where approximately 8,000 calves are born daily. From June to August, the herds move through the Western Corridor and Grumeti River area, facing crocodile-infested crossings. July to October brings the dramatic Mara River crossings in the Northern Serengeti.
Your safari begins with a game drive in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before flying deep into the Serengeti. We move with the migration, staying at exclusive mobile camps and luxury lodges positioned in the path of the herds. Expert guides with years of migration tracking experience lead each game drive, maximizing your chances of witnessing river crossings and predator-prey interactions.

9 DaysArrival in Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! Meet your guide at Kilimanjaro International Airport for transfer to your luxury hotel. Evening safari briefing and welcome dinner.
Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater
Drive to Ngorongoro and descend into the crater for a full day of game viewing. Search for black rhino, lions, elephants, and flamingos in this natural amphitheater.
Fly to Serengeti - Migration Zone
Morning flight to the current migration location. Depending on the month, this could be Ndutu (Dec-Mar), the Western Corridor (Jun-Aug), or Northern Serengeti (Jul-Oct). Afternoon game drive tracking the herds.
Full Day Migration Safari
Wake early for the best migration activity. Spend the full day with the herds, watching for river crossings (seasonal), predator interactions, and the chaos of millions of animals on the move.
Migration & Hot-Air Balloon (Optional)
Optional dawn hot-air balloon flight over the migration, followed by champagne bush breakfast. Continue exploring the migration throughout the day.
Move to Central Serengeti
Fly or drive to Central Serengeti for different wildlife perspectives. The Seronera Valley offers excellent year-round game viewing with resident wildlife.
Central Serengeti Safari
Full day exploring the Seronera Valley, famous for leopards and resident lion prides. Visit the famous Simba Kopjes where lions sun themselves on warm rocks.
Serengeti Full Day
Final full day of safari. Morning and afternoon game drives with picnic lunch in the bush. Farewell bush dinner under the stars.
Serengeti to Arusha - Departure
Early morning game drive before flying back to Arusha. Connect with international flights or extend to Zanzibar.
