Uganda Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is home to roughly half of the world remaining mountain gorillas - around 450 individuals in several habituated family groups. This carefully planned itinerary maximizes your chances of an extraordinary encounter.

Your Journey
4 DaysArrival and Transfer to Bwindi
Arrive at Entebbe Airport and begin the scenic drive to Bwindi through rural Uganda.
Gorilla Trekking Day
After early breakfast, report to park headquarters for briefing. Then the trek begins. You have one precious hour with the gorillas.
Community Walk and Relaxation
A lighter day after the trek. Take a village walk to meet the Batwa pygmies or relax at the lodge.
Return to Entebbe
Begin the journey back to Entebbe with optional stops at the equator or Lake Mburo.
