Unlike the brief gorilla encounters, chimpanzee tracking allows extended time with these fascinating apes. Watch them swing through the canopy, forage for fruit, use tools, and engage in complex social behaviors. Their intelligence and similarity to humans is constantly evident.

Kibale's 13 primate species also include red colobus, L'Hoest's monkeys, and grey-cheeked mangabeys. The forest itself is stunning - a mix of tropical rainforest and transitional woodland that supports incredible biodiversity including over 375 bird species.
